Birthday Weekend

We celebrated Christopher's birthday this weekend. My sweet boy turned 3 on Saturday (Or as he would say, he's "free"). We celebrated by taking the kids to Maple Lane Farms. Christopher LOVES tractors, so spending his birthday at a farm was right up his alley. It was so cute because he thought everything (hay ride, pumpkin patch, inflatables, etc.) was there specifically for his birthday. :) It turned out to be a hot day...definitely didn't feel like October.

Conner had a great time too. He especially enjoyed the hay ride--he was very comfortable on it; wind blowing through his hair and all!! Here are a few pics from our time at MLF:

Christopher had a blast. I think it left quite an impression on him because the next day he announced he wanted to be a farmer when he grows up. :)

Growing Up & Coming Online

Over the last couple of weeks I have become inspired to join the blogging community for a few reasons:

• I have actually visited the blog sites of some of my friends and have really enjoyed being a part of their daily "behind the scenes" lives.
• My sweet boys are growing up so fast and I thought it would be a great way to document some of the fun times we share (I think they'll get a kick out of it when they are older and I know I'll be glad I actually documented something!).
• For my relatives and friends who live far away and don't get to see the boys on a regular basis. Hope you enjoy "tidbits" from our daily life. :)

Back to the title...Growing Up. They are and so fast. Christopher will be 3 in a couple of weeks and Conner will turn one on Oct. 23! I can't believe it. Conner took his first steps on Sunday and he's on a mission to walk. I think he'll be on par with his brother and walking on his own at 11 months. Christopher is busy asking lots of questions, playing with cars, and just enjoying life.
